“Plane to Mexico”

No one can deny the terrible performance of Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate Jim Pederson during his three debates with Republican Senator Jon Kyl. But one of his most bizarre statements was saying that helping a business grow in Mexico was the key to economic development in Tucson.

Pederson’s strange economic agenda made many heads turn, prompting a swift attack ad to be produced.

This lighthearted ad highlights Pederson’s misplaced priorities of putting Mexico before Arizona.

Of the 8 key Senate races in 2006, Senator Kyl was the only Republican to win re-election, and handily defeated his opponent by 10 percentage points.
